Race To The King

Race to the King is Threshold Trail Series’ king-sized ultramarathon along the South Downs Way and Monarch’s Way. On 20 June 2026 at West Dean Gardens, runners can choose from four distances: Monarch’s Loop 30km, Coastal 50km, Castle 50km, and two non-stop options—80km and 100km—that stitch the two longer routes together. The course threads historic landscapes between Bignor Hill, Bosham, and Arundel Castle, with fully signposted trails, route checks, chip timing, and well-stocked pit stops.

The event finishes with a live MC, medal and photos. Charity entries offer reduced fees and fundraising support, plus training and support resources. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
