Race To The King

Race to the King is an ultramarathon event held at West Dean Gardens, featuring challenging courses along the South Downs Way and Monarch’s Way. Participants can choose from three options: the Coastal 50k, a flat and scenic loop around Chichester Harbour with 500m elevation; the Castle 50k, a more demanding 52.7km route with 1040m elevation passing Arundel Castle; or the full 100k challenge combining both loops for a total of 102.7km and 1550m elevation. The event offers a supportive atmosphere with walker-friendly cut-offs, aid stations, and clear signage, making it accessible for all levels.
