Run The Runway 5K & Kids Fun Run in Meriden
Run The Runway is staged at Meriden Markham Airport and includes a main 5K race and a separate Kids Fun Run. The 5K route begins on the airport runway, continues into the South Meriden neighborhood, and returns to finish on the runway.

Proceeds from the event benefit DAV: Disabled American Veterans. The event is presented by Meriden Markham Airport, the City of Meriden, and The Meriden Running Club. T shirts are guaranteed to 5K participants who register by October 11; shirts after that date are subject to availability.
Entry fees for the 5K vary by registration date: $25 through July 31, $30 from August 1 through September 27, $35 from September 28 through October 18, and $40 thereafter. The Kids Fun Run is free.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women and to the top three in each age division. Age divisions include 15 and under, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
