5K for Ballet
5K for Ballet is a community event hosted by the Creative Dance Center to support the 44th annual Christmas show, Santa's Workshop. The event donates proceeds to cover show production costs, and show profits will go to the East Hampton Food Bank. The event takes place on October 25, 2026 at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds, 26 Quarry Hill Road, East Hampton, CT.

Registration opens May 16, 2026 and must be complete by October 24, 2026 at 8:00 PM; there is no same day registration. Entry fees are $25 for ages 13 and older and $20 for ages 12 and under until the registration deadline, plus processing fees. Walkers are not timed and do not require a bib but should check in on arrival.
The course starts and ends at the Haddam Neck Fairgrounds and runs on relatively flat country roads with two moderate inclines and one steep decline. The route matches the Haddam Neck Road Race course run in the opposite direction. Strollers are welcome and dogs are not permitted. All registered participants receive a participation medallion. Runners receive first place awards for male and female in the 13 and older and 12 and under categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
