Race Details
The 4k run/walk event starts at Jimmy Lee Stadium. The course is described as having uphill, downhill, and flat sections. Timing for the race is provided by Crosby Bulldog Track and Field Timing.
Registration and Logistics
Online registration opens on May 1, 2026. Race day registration is available from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Crosby High School Track for a fee of $25, cash only. Packet pickup on race day also occurs from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the track. Parking on race day will be in the lots to the right of the Rotella Magnet School entrance across from the track.
Awards and Amenities
Awards are given for age groups: 1-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The first overall male and female finishers receive a chocolate experience at Fascia's Chocolates in Waterbury. A race t-shirt is provided to participants who register before October 3.
Purpose
The event is presented by Get Good Lawn Care and Landscaping. Proceeds support the Crosby Sports Hall of Fame and its scholarship fund for graduating senior student-athletes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
