Run the Line Half Marathon
The Run the Line Half Marathon is a USATF certified single-loop road course (AR19015WJT) in Texarkana that crosses the Texas Arkansas state line. The event offers a solo half marathon and team options covering the same 13.1 miles for two person and four person relay teams. The race uses chip timing and accepts runners and walkers.
The course begins at the intersection of W. Broad Street and Texas Boulevard in downtown Texarkana, moves into Arkansas, crosses back into Texas, and finishes in Texarkana, Arkansas at 3rd and Wood Streets in front of the Hopkins Ice House, about five blocks from the start. Portions of the route run along the state line and on 10 foot wide asphalt trails that wind through residential neighborhoods and city streets.
The event is a member of the Road Runners Club of America and has applied to be a qualifying race in the 2027 Natural State Running Series.
