Event Details
The Run the Line Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, February 14, 2027. The event offers three ways to participate: the full 13.1-mile half marathon, a 2-person relay team (6.55 miles per member), and a 4-person relay team (approximately 3.27 miles per member).
Course
The course is a USATF-certified single loop (certification AR19015WJT). It starts at the intersection of W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd in downtown Texarkana, Texas, and finishes at 3rd and Wood Streets in Texarkana, Arkansas, about five blocks from the start. The route briefly moves into Arkansas, crosses back into Texas, and finishes in Arkansas, with a portion running on the Texas-Arkansas state line.
Approximately four miles are on 10-foot wide asphalt trails in two city parks, with the remainder on coned-off city streets. The course features several long inclines. Support includes water stops and restrooms at multiple points, over 100 volunteers, multiple police officers, and musical entertainers along the route. The event uses chip timing.
