Run The Grove 5K by Primos Dallas
Run The Grove 5K by Primos Dallas is held at Crawford Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. The event includes a certified, timed 5K race and a 3K fun run on paved trails. The organizing mentorship program serves families in the Pleasant Grove area of southeast Dallas.
The event raises scholarship funds for high school and college students; since 2018 Primos has awarded $105,000 in scholarships. Registration fees listed are $45 for the 5K and $25 for the 3K.
All participants receive a Run the Grove t-shirt and a free meal after the race, plus unlimited water and snacks. 5K participants receive a completion medal, immediate race results, and prizes awarded to first, second, and third place in every age and sex category. The 3K is not timed and is described as dog friendly and stroller friendly; the posted free meal for 3K participants includes breakfast tacos and Mexican paleta.
