Run the Grove 2026
Run the Grove is the 9th annual Timbergrove Manor community race, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event is organized by TMNA and includes a certified 5K and a Kids’ Fun Run held at Lorraine Cherry Nature Preserve, 2400 West 11th Street in Timbergrove Manor, Houston, Texas.
The 5K course is USATF certified and will be chip timed. Aid stations and water are available at the start, the finish, and along the course. The Kids’ Fun Run is approximately 1K and open to children of all ages; all Kids’ Fun Run finishers receive a medal. All participants receive a runner packet that includes a race t-shirt.
Registration fees for the 5K are listed as $40 (early bird), $45 (regular), and $50 (race day). Kids’ Fun Run fees are $20, $25, and $30 for the same registration periods. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at a location to be announced.
Parking will be available at Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church (2025 West 11th Street) with overflow at Grace Bible Church. The event supports local initiatives including the Grow the Grove tree planting program, conservation at Lorraine Cherry Nature Preserve, and donations to Love and Sinclair Elementary Schools.
