Run the Farm 4M Run/Walk
Run the Farm is a community 4-mile run/walk in Centereach, New York, with the start area at Oxhead Elementary School and a finish at Hobbs Farm. The course is USATF certified and features a fast start on about two miles of flat terrain, followed by a mile of rolling hills and two mildly challenging ascents before finishing on the historic grounds of Bethel Hobbs Community Farm.
Amenities listed for the event include refreshments, awards, family activities, and pre- and post-race food and water at Hobbs Farm. The first 250 participants receive a T-shirt and all runners receive a promotional goodie bag. Portable restrooms are provided at Oxhead Elementary (starting area) and at Hobbs Farm (finish area).
Award categories cover Top 3 male and female overall, Top active military/veteran overall, and Top 3 male and female age groups with medals for ages 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus. Wheelchair athletes are included in the awards structure.
In-person bib pickup is available at Oxhead Elementary School, 144 Oxhead Road, Centereach. Virtual participants receive mailed bibs and may upload times and photos during a designated upload window. Parking is available at the elementary school and on-premise at Hobbs Farm. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event date.
