Run the Farm 4M Run/Walk - Centereach, NY (August 14, 2027)
Run the Farm is a 4-mile community run/walk held in Centereach, New York, concluding on the historic grounds of Bethel Hobbs Community Farm. The course is USATF certified and features roughly two miles of flat terrain at the start, followed by about one mile of rolling hills and two mildly challenging ascents before the finish.
The event lists on-site amenities including refreshments, pre- and post-event food and water at Hobbs Farm, and two porta-potties at the start and two at the finish. The first 250 participants receive a T-shirt and all participants receive a promotional goodie bag. Live online, email, and text results are provided along with event video and same-day finish-line photos; additional photos are available on social media.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, the top active military or veteran overall, and the top three male and female finishers in standard age-group brackets (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Wheelchair athletes are included in awards.
On-site bib pickup is managed at Oxhead Elementary School and virtual bibs are mailed to remote participants. Parking is available at the elementary school and on the Hobbs Farm property.
