About the race
Run The Alamo is a multi-distance road race event held on March 7, 2027 at Civic Park at Hemisfair, 210 S. Alamo St., San Antonio, TX. The event program includes full and shorter distance races and a separate Donut Dash.
The event offers these race options:
- Alamo 26.2 Marathon
- Alamo 13.1 Half
- Alamo 3.1 and 6.2 5K and 10K
- Alamo Donut Dash 5K and 10K
Course highlights pass near The Alamo, historic Houston Street, San Pedro Cultural Park, San Fernando Cathedral, the tree-lined King William neighborhood, the World Heritage Missions, and the River Walk. Activities at the race include a sunrise live cannon blast and multiple musket volleys. Finishers receive themed medals; the Alamo 13.1 and 26.2 medals include a wagon element that opens to reveal a letter and a challenge coin, with an archived Alamo image on the medal interior. Technical shirts are available.
Additional event elements include a post race party, volunteer opportunities for cheering and post-race food service, an expo with vendor opportunities, listed sponsors, and hotel partners.
