Run the Alamo 2027
Run the Alamo is an annual multi-day running event held in San Antonio, Texas. The 2027 edition marks the 16th year of the race series, which takes place at Civic Park at Hemisfair. The event features a variety of distances held over two days, including the Alamo Donut Dash and a full marathon. Participants pass through historic and cultural sites, including the World Heritage Missions and the cradle of Texas liberty, the Alamo.

The 5 km and 10 km races take place on Saturday, while the Half Marathon and Marathon are held on Sunday. The Sunday races feature a start sequence involving a live cannon blast and a multiple musket volley. The courses are described as flat and certified, with aid stations providing water and electrolyte drinks positioned every 1 to 1.5 miles. The Half Marathon has a course time limit of 4 hours, and the Marathon has a limit of 7 hours.
Additional event features include a bag check service on Sunday and a packet pickup expo held the day before the main races. A post-race celebration at Civic Park offers live music, local cuisine, and beverages from local breweries.
