Run Tatton Half Marathon - Tatton Park
Run Tatton Half Marathon is a chip-timed half marathon held at Tatton Park in Knutsford, Cheshire (WA16 6QN). The course is road closed with sections inside the park and on neighbouring roads. Runners complete two laps of the measured route, which has an elevation gain of 118 m. Marshals, distance markers and directional arrows guide competitors around the course; a GPX file of the route is available.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies, bag drop, pacers and free parking. The event village offers food and drink and finish-line refreshments supplied by partners. Portable toilets will be available in the event village and approximately halfway around the course. There are two on-course water stations that are passed on each lap.
Transport options noted for the venue include on-site free parking next to the event village, Knutsford Railway Station at about half a mile from the park entrance, and cycle racks at both main park entrances. Some nearby roads, including Mereheath Lane, will be closed with traffic management in place to allow continued access to local facilities.
Spectators are welcome and can watch from the event village, which also provides race-day information. The event supports The Christie Charity, which raises funds for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust to fund research, treatment, care and education.
