Race details and logistics
Packet pickup is available at Southbank Original Barbecue, 129 E Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville, IL 60560, and packets may also be picked up at the starting line on race morning. T-shirts will be provided only to participants who pre-register before March 9, 2026; registrations after that date will not receive a shirt. Age-group awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in these groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60 and above. The event will include live music and a parade following the race. Proceeds from the RUN S.O.B. RUN 5K will benefit CASA Kendall County, a nonprofit volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system.
