Welcome to the 10th Annual S.O.B. Run for CASA of Kendall County
The 10th annual S.O.B. Run is a 5K road race held in Yorkville, Illinois on March 14, 2026. The event is based at Southbank Original Barbecue, 129 E Hydraulic St., downtown Yorkville along the Fox River. Live music will be presented throughout the day and a parade follows the race.
Packet pickup is scheduled after 3:00 PM on Friday, March 13 at Southbank Original Barbecue. Participants who cannot pick up packets on Friday may collect them at the starting line on the morning of the race. T shirts will be provided only to participants who pre register by February 28; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a T shirt.
The race uses chip timing with live results. Age group awards will be given for male and female top three finishers in these groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; and 60 and above.
Proceeds benefit CASA Kendall County. CASA Kendall County is a nonprofit volunteer organization that advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children within the juvenile court system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
