Run Scotland Strathclyde Spring Half Marathon 2026
The Run Scotland Strathclyde Spring Half Marathon takes place in Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell. The event is set within 400 hectares of countryside in the valley of the River Clyde, featuring a landscape of mature woodlands and wetlands.
The race follows a flat route on the roads and paths around the park, making it a fast course. Participants complete four laps to cover the full distance.
Registration and race headquarters are located at Hamilton Road. Participants collect their race numbers and timing chips on the day of the event. The race is chip timed, and results are calculated based on the gun time according to UK Athletics rules.

The event provides a bag drop at the race headquarters and on-site toilets. Water stations are positioned at every lap, which is approximately every three miles, and distance markers are placed at every mile. All finishers receive a medal. Participation is open to runners aged 17 and over.
