Run Scotland Strathclyde Spring Half Marathon 3rd May 2026

The event is a half marathon held at Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell, set within about 400 hectares in the valley of the River Clyde. The course runs on roads and paths around the park, covers four equal laps and is on flat, traffic free ground that passes through mature woodlands and rough wetlands.

The race surface is road. Chip timing is used and a finisher medal is provided to all finishers. Race positions are determined by gun time while chip time is available for personal use. Distance markers are placed every mile and there are water stations on each lap, roughly every three miles.

Event facilities at the race headquarters include bag drop, toilets, changing facilities, parking, first aid and refreshments. The minimum age to enter is 17. Entry is limited to 500 participants. Entry fees are listed as £27.00 for affiliated runners and £29.00 for unaffiliated runners. Entries close on 27th April 2026 and numbers are collected on the day at the race headquarters.
