Run Scotland Strathclyde Spring Half Marathon 2026 is a half-marathon held at Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell (Hamilton Road, ML1 3ED). The event is traffic free and run on road surfaces. Entry is open for runners aged 17 and over. Entries are limited to 500 and close on 27th April 2026. Entry fees are £27.00 for affiliated runners and £29.00 for unaffiliated runners. The race is chip timed and all finishers receive a medal. The published cut-off for the half-marathon distance is 3 hours.
Course and race logistics
The course covers four laps on flat roads and paths around the park and passes stretches of mature woodlands and rough wetlands. Water stations are provided every lap (approximately every 3 miles) and there are distance markers every mile. Race headquarters and registration are at Strathclyde Country Park. Numbers are collected on the day from registration. Facilities listed for the event include bag drop, toilets on site, changing facilities, parking, first aid, and refreshments.
