Flat 'N Fast 6
Flat 'N Fast 6 takes place on Saturday 18th April 2026 at West Lothian Cycle Circuit, based at Xcite Linlithgow, McGinley Way, Linlithgow, EH49 6SQ.
The event programme includes:
- 5 km races: seven separate races for U16 and older.
- 3 km junior races: two races for U14 and U12.
- Mixed relay: teams of two female and two male athletes, one lap each.
All races are run on a lapped course. One lap measures approximately 960 metres. The 5 km format is five laps plus the finishing straight; the 3 km format is three laps plus a slightly shorter finishing straight. The course has been officially measured by the Association of UK Course Measurers and the 5 km holds AIMs certification.
Junior 3 km eligibility follows Scottish Athletics summer 2026 age groups: under 12 (years born 2015 or 2016) and under 14 (years born 2013 or 2014). Entry costs are £8 for SA or equivalent members and £11 for non members. 5 km categories include U16, U18, U20 and Senior with listed birth years; 5 km entry costs are £16 for SA or equivalent members and £19 for non members.
Relay teams must be U16 or older, a maximum of 30 teams may enter, entry is £28, and athletes may compete in both the 5 km and the relay.
Declarations will be at the vendor village. Athletes receive an allocated time to collect bibs; bibs are issued only during that period and declarations close ten minutes before the relevant race. The sports centre provides free parking which can be busy at weekends. Spectating is free. Animals are not allowed inside the gated cycle circuit. Race transfers and refunds are not available.
