ACORN Castlemilk Trail Race
The event is scheduled for 19 April 2026 with start and finish adjacent to Linn Park Golf Club, Simshill Road, G44 5EP. The route runs on woodland trails within and around Linn Park.

The course uses natural trails with sections of mud, tree roots and occasional fallen logs. It is not an obstacle race and is not uniformly flat; there are both uphill and downhill sections, plus technical and faster stretches. The route is fully waymarked and there is a water station on route. Volunteers provide marshal cover and there are snacks and water at the finish. First aid cover is available if required.
The event includes a Glasgow City Council environmental levy and a donation to the Friends of Linn Park. A green Acorn Trails t-shirt is available to purchase during the sign-up process. The organiser has provided pricing details. The service fee for sign-up is 4 percent with a minimum charge of 50 p.
