Run Scotland Strathclyde Spring 10k 2026
Run Scotland Strathclyde Spring 10k is a chip timed race held in Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell. The event covers 10 km over two laps on roads and paths around the park. The course is described as flat and runs through mature woodlands and areas of rough wetland.
The race is traffic free and runs on road surfaces and shared paths. Distance markers are provided every kilometre and there is a staffed water station at 5 km. All finishers receive a medal. Results are produced using chip timing and official race positions are based on gun time following UK Athletics rules.
Entry is open to participants aged 15 and over. Entry fees are listed as £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unaffiliated runners. Entries are limited to 200 and the closing date for entries is 27th April 2026; entries on the day may be possible depending on availability.
Event day facilities at the race headquarters include bag drop, toilets, first aid and refreshments. Individual prizes are awarded to the top three men and women, veteran age group prizes are provided for men 40+ and women 35+ under specified conditions, and team prizes are available for eligible club teams.
