RUN ROCKAWAY BEACH FIRECRACKER HALF MARATHON & 5K takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Far Rockaway, NY (Beach 94th Street on the boardwalk). The race offers the following events:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
Entry fees listed on the event page include a half marathon price of $69.90 (includes $4.90 fee) and a 5K price of $48.70 (includes $3.70 fee). Prices increase after March 12, 2026 at 5:00pm EDT. Day-of-race registration is available.
Course and logistics
Both the start and finish are located on Beach 94th on the boardwalk. The half marathon is run as two loops: from Beach 94th west, U-turn at Beach 124th Street, east to 54th Street U-turn, then back to Beach 94th and repeat. The 5K is an out-and-back from Beach 94th west to Beach 124th and back to the finish on 94th. The boardwalk course is flat and has ocean views along the route. There are at least four water stops on each loop of the half marathon. Bib, T-shirt pickup and check-in take place on Beach 94th. Public parking is available in the lot on Beach 94th.
