Pi Day 3.14 Mile NSRF 2027
The event centers on a Pi Day themed 3.14 mile circular course through Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The route visits park landmarks including the Unisphere twice and the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish near the Queens Theater and parking near the Queens Museum building on Meridian Road. The course is USATF certified as a 5K and a certified course map is available.
In-person participants receive a Pi Day finisher medal and a Pi Day tee; in-person attendees also receive a mini pie. Hydration is provided at the finish line and refreshments are supplied by event partners. An informal bag check area is available; bathrooms are within a short walk from the start and finish. Additional portable restrooms are placed near the finish and an NYC Parks bathroom is located near mile 2.
A virtual participation option allows entrants to log a time and up to five photos from the first day of the event through the following week; virtual participant items begin shipping on the first day. Bibs can be mailed for a fee if registered at least ten days in advance, and in-person bib pickup is handled on race day by event staff. Results are provided live online and via email and text, with finish line photos and same-day video.
A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization; donations and fundraising directly support NSRF programs. Age group recognition is offered for overall top finishers and multiple age brackets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
