Pi Day 3.14 Mile NSRF

This event is a 3.14 mile circular run/walk held in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The route visits the Unisphere twice and runs around the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish located near the Queens Theater. The course is on a USATF certified route through the park.

Amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby bathrooms within a few minutes' walk, portable toilets near the finish, and hydration provided at the finish. High quality refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. In-person participants receive a Pi Day finisher medal and a Pi Day tee; a mini pie is available for in-person participants.

A virtual participation option is offered; virtual entrants have the first day of the event plus a full week to log a time and upload up to five photos. Event items begin shipping the first day of the event. Bibs can be mailed for a fee if registered in advance; mailed bibs for virtual participants are sent beginning the Monday prior, with typical transit of 3–5 days for late signups. In-person bib pickup is available from event staff.

Age-group recognition is awarded online, including top overall placements and top placements by age brackets from 14 and under through 90+. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Parking information references the Queens Museum building on Meridian Road with a walk to the Queens Theater.
