2026 NSRF Pi Day 3.14 Mile
The NSRF Pi Day 3.14 Mile is a themed running and walking event held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York. Organized to celebrate the mathematical constant Pi, the race takes place on a circular course that measures exactly 3.14 miles. The route utilizes a USATF certified 5K course within the historic park grounds. Participants traverse scenic areas, passing the Unisphere twice and running around the Fountain of the Planets, with the start and finish lines located near the Queens Theater.

The event is held rain or shine. In-person participants receive a themed finisher medal, a t-shirt, and a mini pie. Amenities at the site include refreshment stations featuring sparkling water and bakery products, as well as an informal bag check area. Restrooms are located near the finish line and along the course near the two-mile mark.
For those choosing the virtual option, the distance can be completed at any location between March 8 and March 15. Virtual registrants receive their bib, medal, and shirt via mail. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports the Never Stop Running Foundation, a non-profit organization that aids athletic and charitable programs.
