Run For Tomorrow's Hope 5K Run/Walk
The Run For Tomorrow's Hope 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for March 14, 2026 at St. Joseph School, 450 Franklin Avenue, Garden City. The event includes a 5 kilometer run and a separate 1 mile fun run.
The event benefits the Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation. The foundation works to support Catholic elementary schools on Long Island by increasing awareness and providing scholarship and program funding. The foundation provides opportunities for hundreds of children each year to attend Catholic elementary school.

Event amenities include a commemorative T-shirt for participants and additional race swag for participants under 14. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and top three male and female in standard age groups from 8 and under through 70 plus. Special trophies recognize the fastest Catholic girls and boys high school teams and the fastest Catholic elementary school team when teams meet scoring requirements; there is also recognition for the top male and female Catholic school teacher and prizes for fun run finishers.
The event offers early packet pickup before the race and mailing of bibs for virtual participants. Virtual runners may upload times and photos during the postrace upload window and may use a track, treadmill, certified course, or running apps to record distance.
