Run For Tomorrow's Hope 5K Run/Walk : Garden City

The event is scheduled for March 14, 2026 at St. Joseph School, 450 Franklin Avenue, Garden City. It combines a community 5K running and walking event with a separate 1 mile fun run. Registration is not yet open.

The event supports the Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation, which raises scholarship and program funds to help children attend Catholic elementary schools on Long Island.

Amenities include a commemorative T-shirt and additional race swag for participants under 14. Overall and age-group awards are given for top finishers, with separate trophies and prizes for several school-team and teacher categories. Fun Run finishers receive prizes.

Early packet pickup is scheduled for March 13. Bibs for virtual participants are shipped; virtual entrants can upload times and photos from March 14 through March 22. Bib mailing begins the Monday prior to the event.
