2026 Citi Field Spartan Event Weekend
The Citi Field Spartan Event Weekend takes place at the home of the New York Mets in Queens, New York. This stadium obstacle course race provides an opportunity for participants to compete inside a venue with a capacity of over 40,000 people. Located approximately 20 minutes outside of Manhattan, the event utilizes the stadium’s unique architecture, including the bleachers, concourses, and thousands of stairs.
The course layout requires participants to traverse walls and navigate through the ballpark seating areas. An obstacle workshop is scheduled for the day before the primary races. On race day, various participation options are available:
- Stadion 5K: A 5 km course featuring 20 obstacles with an average completion time of approximately 92 minutes.
- Kids Race: A course ranging from 1 km to 1.5 km designed for younger participants, including obstacles.
- Spectators: Access for individuals to view the competition from the sidelines of the ballpark.
The venue is located at 41 Seaver Way. Parking is available on-site, and the event offers a program for volunteers to participate.
