Nittany Valley Half Marathon
The Nittany Valley Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile road race held in State College, PA on December 6, 2026. The course begins and ends on Penn State’s campus near the Snider Ag Arena and passes through rolling countryside, along Spring Creek, and through Houserville. The route includes a climb up Orchard Hill and a final stretch back to the Snider Ag Arena. The course is well marked and staffed by volunteers who provide guidance and encouragement. Runners have up to four hours to complete the course. Registration includes a time chipped bib.
Proceeds benefit Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM), Centre County’s free clinic that provides medical, dental, behavioral health, case management, and medication assistance to uninsured community members. Registered participants receive a customizable fundraising page and simple fundraising tools; fundraising is optional and donations support direct patient care.
Entry fees are shown at $50 with a later increase to $60. A discounted fee deadline and an online registration deadline are noted for 2026. The event has a no refund policy; if the race is canceled, registration fees are considered donations to CVIM. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
