Ratalang Endurance Run
The Ratalang Endurance Run is a distance event held at Ratalang Reserve, located at Bashams Beach in the Fleurieu region. The event utilizes a 5.275 km loop course that showcases the natural scenery of the reserve. Participants can choose between several formats including endurance challenges and traditional long-distance distances held overnight.
Available distances and formats include:
- 12-Hour Endurance Run: A solo challenge to complete as many laps as possible.
- 12-Hour Pair Endurance: A relay format where two participants alternate laps.
- Midnight Marathon: A 42.2 km race consisting of 8 laps of the course.
- Half-Assed Marathon: A 21.1 km half-marathon consisting of 4 laps.
The endurance run and the night-time races provide the opportunity to run under the stars. The event is designed to be inclusive, accommodating various abilities and focusing on a community atmosphere within the Ratalang Reserve.
