Heysen Trail Ultra 2026

Heysen Trail Ultra is a multi-distance trail running event that uses sections of the Heysen Trail, a 1200 km route that traverses the Adelaide Hills through to the Flinders Ranges. The event takes place along the Fleurieu Peninsula coastal leg and is connected to the landscape that inspired a noted South Australian landscape artist.

The event format was revised in 2021 so that all distances now finish in Victor Harbor at the Heysen Village in the Soldiers Memorial Gardens. In 2025 multi-day options were added to allow participants to travel the coastal leg from Deep Creek Conservation Park through to Victor Harbor over consecutive days.

Available distances:

Saturday: 13k, 28k, 42k, 50k, 70k, 115k
Sunday: 50k, 22k, 9k
Multi-day options: 50k, 50 miles, 100k, 100 miles
