Run of Remembrance
Run of Remembrance is a Memorial Day race held on May 31, 2027, in American Fork, Utah. The event starts and finishes at Robinson Park, 100 East Main St, and offers multiple distances on a course lined with American flags. The morning includes the National Anthem and a veteran gun salute before the races.
The event includes these race distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- Memorial Mile
- Kids K
The Memorial Mile includes prize money for the top three overall finishers and a bonus for breaking course records. Top three overall male and female finishers in each distance receive awards; the 10K and 5K also award the top three in each age group. Finishers receive a race shirt and a finisher medal. Post-race offerings for participants include Redmond Re-Lyte, water, chocolate milk, and food at the park pavilion.
Aid stations on the course provide Re-Lyte, water, porta-potties, and a first aid kit. Timing is provided with chips attached to bibs and results are available through Laurel Timing and the Runtastic Events app. Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Runtastic office in American Fork the Saturday before the race; a day-of pickup fee applies. Designated parking is available around Robinson Park and dogs are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
