Event Overview

Run of Remembrance is a Memorial Day event held in American Fork, Utah. The race is designed to honor military service members and their families. It features a patriotic atmosphere, including the National Anthem and a veteran gun salute before the races begin.

Distances and Pricing

Participants can choose from four race distances:

• 10K for $54.95
• 5K for $44.95
• Memorial Mile for $26.95
• Kids K for $12.95

The Memorial Mile is described as fast and flat, offering prize money for the top finishers. The course is lined with American flags.

Registration and Packet Pickup

Registration remains open until 60 minutes before the start time of a specific distance if the race is not sold out. A friends and family discount of $1.00 per registrant is available when four or more people register in the same transaction.

Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at the Runtastic Office in American Fork. A $15 fee applies for packet pickup on race morning, which is available as a last resort at the blue Runtastic Info tent near the finish line at Robinson Park.

Race Details

All races start and finish at Robinson Park in American Fork. Aid stations provide water, electrolytes, and porta-potties. The event includes professional timing, with chip timing for age group awards and gun timing for overall awards. Free race photos are provided.

Awards and Recognition

Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance, as well as top three age group finishers in the 10K and 5K. A $100 bonus is awarded to the top male and female finisher who breaks a course record in the 10K, 5K, or Memorial Mile. The Memorial Mile offers prize money: $150 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third.
