Event overview
The Run of Remembrance is a Memorial Day race on May 25, 2026 in American Fork, Utah. The start and finish are at Robinson Park, 100 East Main Street. The event includes these distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- Memorial Mile
- Kids K (1K)
The morning includes the National Anthem and a veteran gun salute. The courses are described as flag-lined; the Memorial Mile is noted as fast and flat. Free race photos will be taken at the start, along the course, and at the finish.
Logistics and awards
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Runtastic office, 50 N Center Street. Packets contain the race bag, bib, shirt, and race swag; a photo ID is required. Day-of packet pick-up at the blue Runtastic info tent near the finish carries a $15 fee. Parking is available in lots around Robinson Park.
Aid stations provide water, Powerade, Vaseline, porta-potties, and a first aid kit. Timing chips are attached to the back of the bib; age group awards use chip time and overall awards use gun time. Results are available at the on-site Results Trailer and online. Awards include medals for top three overall male and female finishers in each distance and age group medals for 10K and 5K. The Memorial Mile offers prize money of $150, $100, and $50 for first through third overall, and a $100 bonus for breaking a course record.
