Run of Remembrance : Memorial Day 2026
The Run of Remembrance takes place on May 25, 2026 in American Fork, Utah. All races start and finish at Robinson Park, 100 East Main Street. The event offers the following distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- Memorial Mile
- Kids K (1K)
Event details and logistics
The morning program includes the National Anthem and a veteran gun salute. The course is lined with American flags. Course maps are available for each distance.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Runtastic Office, 50 N Center Street, American Fork. Runners must bring a photo ID to pick up their packet; someone else may pick up a packet with a copy of the runner’s photo ID. A $15 fee applies for race-morning packet pick-up at the blue Runtastic Info tent near the finish line.
Aid stations provide water, electrolytes, porta-potties, and a first aid kit. Aid station locations include around mile 1.8 and mile 2.6 (and mile 5.2 on the 10K). Bibs include timing chips attached to the back; races are professionally timed. Overall top three placings are determined by gun time; age-group awards use chip time.
Awards include medals for top three overall male and female finishers and age-group awards for 10K and 5K. The Memorial Mile awards prize money for the top three overall and a bonus for breaking the course record. Free race photos are provided.
