Event overview
The Run of Remembrance is a Memorial Day road race on May 25, 2026 in American Fork, Utah. The start and finish are at Robinson Park, 100 East Main Street. The event honors service members and includes a National Anthem and a veteran gun salute before the races. The course is lined with American flags.

Logistics and race features
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Runtastic office, 50 N Center Street, American Fork; there is a $15 fee for day-of-race packet pickup. Packets include a race bag, bib, shirt, and race swag, and pick-up requires photo ID or a copy of the ID if someone else collects the packet.
Aid stations provide water, electrolytes, porta-potties, and a first aid kit; electrolytes are on the first table and water on the second. Timing is by chips attached to the bibs, provided by The Race Time, and free race photos will be available. Results can be viewed at the results trailer on site and online.
Awards include top three overall medals for male and female finishers in each distance and age-group medals for the 10K and 5K. The Memorial Mile awards prize money for the top three overall finishers and a bonus for breaking the course record; breaking certain course records also carries a mailed prize.
