Run Northumberland Coquet 5K - Rothbury, 5 July 2026
Run Nation's Coquet 5K is a measured, traffic-free road race held in Rothbury along the Coquet Valley. The route follows riverside paths and local roads, starting and finishing at Riverside Park. The course is described as relatively flat with distance markers every kilometre.
Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport and the route is accurately measured. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher medal; an optional race T-shirt is available for an additional cost. Minimum age to enter is 11 years.
Race headquarters and registration are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School, Rothbury. Registration and bag drop are managed at the school; toilets are available at registration and at the finish area. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or the car park near the finish. Water is supplied at the finish and basic first aid is provided on site.
Entry is limited to 100 places. Entry fees are listed as £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unaffiliated runners. Entries close on 30th June 2026.
