Run Northumberland Coquet 5k 2026

The Run Northumberland Coquet 5k 2026 takes place on Sunday, 5th July 2026, in Rothbury. It is a 5K race described as flat, multi-terrain, and traffic-free.

Course Details

The course is situated on roads in the Coquet Valley and uses a riverside path. The start and finish point is Riverside Park in Rothbury. The route is accurately measured and uses chip timing provided by Timing4Sport. Distance markers are placed every kilometer.

Event Information

Registration and the race headquarters are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School in Rothbury. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or a car park near the finish. Toilets are located at the registration area and the finish line. A water station is provided at the finish. There is a bag drop at registration.

All finishers receive a bespoke medal. An optional race T-shirt is available for an extra cost. The event has a limit of 100 entries and a minimum age requirement of 11 years old.
