Run Northumberland Coquet 5k 2026
The Run Northumberland Coquet 5k is a road running event held in the village of Rothbury. The course is situated on the roads of the Coquet Valley, following a route that goes up and down the valley. The run starts and finishes at the Riverside Park.
The course is described as relatively flat and follows a riverside path. This 5k race is held on a multi-terrain surface but is noted as being traffic-free. The route is accurately measured, and distance markers are placed at every kilometer. Participant timing is recorded using a chip timing system provided by Timing4Sport.
Registration and the race headquarters are located at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School. Facilities available at the registration area include a bag drop and toilets. Additional toilets and water stations are located at the finish line. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or in the car park situated near the finish area.
The event is open to participants aged 11 years and older. The following distances are available:
