Run Northumberland Coquet 5k
Run Nation's Coquet 5k is a 5 km road race on the roads up and down the Coquet Valley, starting and finishing at Riverside Park in Rothbury. The course follows a riverside path and is described as relatively flat. The route is accurately measured and uses chip timing provided by Timing4Sport.
The event is open to runners aged 11 and over. The surface is multi terrain and the course is traffic free. Distance markers are provided every kilometre and water is available at the finish. Toilets are located at registration and at the finish, and a bag drop is available at registration. Changing facilities, first aid and refreshments are provided on race day. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or the car park near the finish.
Entries were limited to 100 and closed on 23rd June 2026; the race is now full. Entry fees were £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unaffiliated runners. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and an optional race T shirt is available for an additional cost. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
