About the race
The Run Northumberland Coquet 5k is a scenic running event held in Rothbury, Northumberland, featuring a relatively flat 5-kilometer course along the roads and riverside paths of the Coquet Valley. Starting and finishing at Riverside Park, the race offers a traffic-free, multi-terrain route suitable for runners aged 11 and above, making it ideal for beginners stepping up from shorter distances. The event includes chip timing for accurate results, distance markers every kilometer, and provides all finishers with a bespoke medal.
