Event
Run Northumberland Coquet 5k takes place on 5th July 2026 in Rothbury. The race is a measured 5K on roads and riverside paths in the Coquet Valley, starting and finishing at Riverside Park. The course is described as relatively flat and traffic free. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. The event is open to participants aged 11 and over. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; an optional race T-shirt is available at extra cost.
Practical information
Race HQ and registration are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School, Rothbury (5 Tollgate Rd, NE65 7RD). Registration includes a bag drop and toilet facilities; toilets are also available at the finish. Distance markers are placed every kilometre. Parking is available at Auction Mart or the car park near the finish. Water is provided at the finish. Entry is limited to 100 places, with entry fees of £12 (affiliated) and £14 (unaffiliated); entries close on 30th June 2026.
