Run Northumberland Coquet 5k
Run Northumberland Coquet 5k is a traffic free, accurately measured 5K held in the Coquet Valley near Rothbury on 5 July 2026. The route runs on roads and a riverside path, starting and finishing at Riverside Park, and is described as relatively flat. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport.
The event is open to people aged 11 and over. Entry is limited to 100 places, entries close on 30 June 2026, and the listed entry fees are £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unaffiliated runners. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and an optional race T shirt is available for an additional cost. A race email will be sent in the week before the event.
Race headquarters and registration are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School in Rothbury, where bag drop and toilets are also located. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or the car park near the finish. Water is provided at the finish, distance markers appear every kilometre, and first aid is available.
