Run Northumberland Coquet 5k - 5th July 2026
Run Nation's Coquet 5k is a measured 5 kilometre road race set in the Coquet Valley, with the course starting and finishing at Riverside Park in Rothbury. The route runs along riverside paths and local roads and is described as relatively flat. The surface is multi terrain and the course is traffic free. Distance markers appear every kilometre.
The event is open to entrants aged 11 and over. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional race T-shirt available for an extra cost.
Race headquarters and registration are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School, Rothbury. Registration includes a bag drop. Toilets are available at registration and at the finish. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or the car park near the finish. Water is provided at the finish and basic first aid and refreshments are listed for the event.
