Run Northumberland Coquet 5k - Rothbury
Run Nation’s Coquet 5k is a road race held in Rothbury on 5 July 2026. The event covers a measured 5K course that runs along riverside paths and roads in the Coquet Valley. The route is described as relatively flat and traffic free, with distance markers every kilometre.
Participants must be at least 11 years old. Chip timing is provided on the accurately measured course and is supplied by Timing4Sport. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher medal; a race T shirt is available for purchase at an extra cost. Bottled water is provided at the finish.
Race headquarters and registration are based at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School in Rothbury, where bag drop and toilets are also located. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or at a car park near the finish. First aid cover is provided on event day.
Entry fees differ by affiliation: affiliated entries are listed at £12.00 and unaffiliated entries at £14.00. Entries are limited to 100 participants and the entry closing date is 30 June 2026.
