SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat
The SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat is a winter ultra-run held on 5 December 2026 with Event HQ at Ingram Village Hall in Ingram, Northumberland (NE66 4LU). The race is organised by Cold Brew Events Ltd in partnership with SCOTT Sports and is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules.
The route is a roughly 55 mile loop across the Cheviot hills and the largest hills in the border region. Organisers often confirm the final route only a few days before the event because conditions can vary in winter. Each participant is issued a GPS tracker and has 24 hours to reach the finish. Prizes include the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner, other top finisher prizes, and a t-shirt and medal for all finishers.
Entry is limited to those aged 18 or older. Entries open 9 December 2025 and close 22 November 2026. Entry fees are listed as UKA member £220.00 and non member £222.00, plus a 6% booking fee. Camping is available in the field next to Event HQ at £30 per tent or van and parking is £10 per car.
Refunds and deferrals are not available and entries cannot be transferred. There is an optional XCover purchase intended to provide refund protection for unforeseen circumstances.
