The SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat is a winter ultra run held on Saturday 5 December 2026 with event HQ at Ingram Village Hall, Ingram, Northumberland, NE66 4LU. The course is a loop across the Cheviot hills and is described as a winter ultra of approximately 55 miles. The exact route can vary and is often confirmed only a few days before the event. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules. Each runner receives a GPS tracker and has a 24-hour time limit to reach the finish. Prizes include the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner, additional prizes for top finishers, and a t-shirt and medal for all finishers. Camping is available on the field next to event HQ.

Entry, fees and logistics

Entries open 9 December 2025 and close 22 November 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees listed are: UKA members £160 (rising to £220 from 1 January 2026) and non-members £162 (rising to £222 from 1 January 2026), plus a 6% booking fee. Camping costs £30 per tent or van and parking is £10 per car. Refunds, deferrals, and entry substitution are not available; an option to purchase third-party cover (XCover) is offered.
