SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat

The SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat is a winter ultra-run in the Cheviot hills based at Ingram Village Hall, Ingram, Northumberland. The event takes place on 5 December 2026 and is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules. The minimum age for entry is 18.

The course is roughly 55-mile and follows a supported loop across the largest hills in the border region. Due to weather and route variables, the final course is often confirmed only a few days before the event. Every runner is issued a GPS tracker so the event team can monitor progress, and participants have a 24 hour limit to reach the finish.

Prizes include the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner, awards for top finishers, and a t-shirt and medal for all finishers. Camping is available on the field next to event headquarters at a cost of £30 per tent or van; parking is £10 per car. Entry fees listed are £220 for UKA members and £222 for non-members, plus a 6% booking fee.

Entries are non-transferable and refunds or deferrals are not available. The event offers an optional XCover policy for possible refund protection in certain circumstances. The organiser is Cold Brew Events Ltd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
