SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat
The SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat is a winter ultra run set in the Cheviot hills around Ingram, Northumberland. The event is organised by Cold Brew Events in partnership with SCOTT Sports and is licensed by the Trail Running Association under UK Athletics rules. It takes place on 5 December 2026 with a minimum age of 18.
The route is a roughly 55 mile course that forms a loop over the largest hills in the border region. The exact route can vary and is sometimes confirmed only a few days before the event because of course variables and winter conditions. Each participant receives a GPS tracker for monitoring, and runners are required to complete the course within a 24 hour time limit.
Prizes include the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner and awards for top finishers; all participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. Camping is available on the field next to the event headquarters at a cost of £30 per tent or van, and parking is charged at £10 per car. Entry fees listed are £220 for UKA members and £222 for non members, plus a 6% booking fee. Entries open 9 December 2025 and close 22 November 2026.
