About the race
SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat is a hard winter ultra organized by Cold Brew Events in partnership with SCOTT Sports. The race takes place around the Cheviot hills in Northumberland, starting and finishing near Ingram Village Hall (Ingram, NE66 4LU). The course is a loop of the Cheviots, about 55 miles, with a variable route that may be adjusted up to race day.
The atmosphere is extreme and remote, often described as England’s loneliest ultra, demanding strong winter conditioning. Notable features include a GPS tracker for every runner, a 24-hour finish window, prizes for top finishers, and a t-shirt and medal for all finishers. Camping on-site is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
