SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat
The SCOTT Sports Winter Cheviot Goat is a winter ultra-run based at Ingram Village Hall, Ingram, Northumberland, held on 5 December 2026. The event is presented by Cold Brew Events in partnership with SCOTT Sports and is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules.
The route is a roughly 55-mile (ish) loop across the largest hills in the border region. Organisers note the course can change because of variable conditions, and the final route is sometimes confirmed only a few days before the event. Every participant receives a GPS tracker so progress can be monitored, and runners have 24 hours to reach the finish.
Entry is restricted to those aged 18 or older. Entries open on 9 December 2025 and close on 22 November 2026. Entry fees are listed at £220 for UKA members and £222 for non members, plus a 6% booking fee. Camping is available on the field next to event headquarters for a stated fee, and parking is charged per car.
Prizes include the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner and awards for top finishers; all participants receive a t-shirt and a medal. No refunds, deferrals, or substitutions are permitted, and there is an optional event protection product that may provide a refund in certain circumstances.
