Run Nidderdale - Nidderdale Fell & Trail

Run Nidderdale is a marked 10 kilometre trail race held on 23 May 2026 at Pateley Bridge Showground. The route covers approximately 10K with about 320 m of elevation and includes sections of ancient woodland, open moorland and technical descents. A GPX file for the route is provided.

The course is waymarked and marshalled. Runners ascend to a trig point with valley views, cross the Nidderdale Way, pass the Two Stoops monument and descend into the finish. Marshals are positioned to guide competitors and manage the route.

Prizes are allocated for winners in the open, V40, V50 and V60 categories, and for the first male and female team based on the top three runners from an affiliated club. There is a £50 cash prize for a male or female course record if broken, and spot prizes will be awarded on the day.

Thirty three percent of proceeds will be donated to the MND Association and thirty three percent to the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, with the remaining third retained for club funds.

The event will be licensed by the TRA and run under UKA rules. Part of the route crosses private land and must not be accessed outside the event. Minimum age for the race is 16. Dogs are not allowed in the race; dogs are welcome in the showground on leads. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
