Run Nidderdale 10 km
Run Nidderdale is a 10 km trail race held at the Nidderdale Showground, Pateley Bridge, Harrogate, North Yorkshire on 23 May 2026. The route is well-marked and marshalled and runs through Nidderdale countryside, including ancient woodland, moorland and sections of the Nidderdale Way.
Runners reach a trig point with views over the Nidderdale valley, pass the Two Stoops monument and complete an extended descent into the finish. The course uses some private land that is available only for the event and must not be accessed before or after the race date.
On-site facilities at the showground include parking nearby, toilets and water. Catering will be available from North Pizza and other refreshments will be provided.
Prizes are awarded in the open, V40, V50 and V60 categories, plus first male and female team prizes for affiliated clubs and spot prizes. There are cash prizes of £50 for a new male or female course record; the current records are 00:38:44 (male) and 00:51:23 (female). Note those records were set when the event was a six mile course.
Entry is open to runners aged 16 or older. A proportion of proceeds will be donated in equal amounts to MND Association and Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, with the remainder retained for club funds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
