Run Nidderdale 10k
The Run Nidderdale 10k is a trail race held at the Nidderdale Showground in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire. The course takes participants through the local countryside using a well-marked and marshalled route. The event is organized by the Nidderdale Fell and Trail Running Club.
The terrain features a variety of landscapes, including ancient woodland and moorland. Runners ascend to a trig point to view the Nidderdale valley before following the Nidderdale Way. The route passes the Two Stoops monument and concludes with a descent back to the finish line. Because a portion of the race crosses private land, the route is only accessible to the public on the day of the event.

The event site at the Nidderdale Showground includes toilets, water, and local parking. On-site catering is provided, with food and refreshments available for purchase. Participants must be at least 16 years old to enter. While dogs are not permitted on the race course, they are allowed on the showground if kept on leads.
Awards are presented to winners in the open category as well as the V40, V50, and V60 age groups. There are also prizes for the first male and female club teams and various spot prizes. A portion of the proceeds from the event is donated to the MND Association and the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
