Kettlewell Anniversary Fell Race
The Kettlewell Anniversary Fell Race is a challenging 5-mile (8 km) fell running event with 1800 ft (550 m) of ascent, held in Kettlewell, England. Established in 2009 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Abbey Runners, it is now organized by North Leeds Fell Runners and serves as a counter in the 2025 English Fell Running Championships. The course features grassy tracks with some boggy sections, including two significant climbs and fast descents, starting and finishing by the river near Kettlewell Village Hall.
A unique feature is a "rat runner" carrying a rat, with prizes for the first man and woman to catch it. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
