About the race

The Run Manatee event at Coquina Beach in Bradenton Beach, FL is a community running day held on July 11, 2026. The main race is a 5K run/walk that follows an asphalt trail along Coquina Beach under tree cover and with gulf breezes. The event includes a short fun run and group activities before and after the run.

Included with the 5K registration are a dri-fit event T-shirt, a custom medal and a complimentary beer. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received by June 19, 2026. Ten percent of 5K registration fees will be donated to The Center Anna Maria Island. Participants who complete all three events in the RUN Manatee series receive three medals that combine into a single 2026 series medal.

Warm up exercises and a yoga cooldown at dusk are part of the day, and new splash zones will be positioned along the route to help participants stay cool. Packet pick up is available on the days preceding the event at local locations in Sarasota and Bradenton, and there is a packet pick up area at the Coquina Beach event site on race day.
