About the race
The 29th Annual Jingle & Jog is a community road race held on 12/05/2026 in Sarasota. The event is a 5K run/walk that raises funds for The Haven, a non-profit with a 68-year history of providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. The race is sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club.
The route begins on The Haven campus at 4405 Desoto Rd, Sarasota, FL 34235, and runs through 32 acres of landscaped grounds. The course is described as smooth and shaded by an oak canopy. The event traces its origins to 1997, when it started with a little more than 200 runners, and the race has recorded over 7,000 finishers to date.
For 2026 a donation of $20 for every finisher has been pledged by the Fry Family Foundation. The Haven has set an objective of more than 500 participants for this year. Registration opens on July 19, 2026 and closes on December 4, 2026; the registration fee is $40. Registration includes a race t-shirt, food, refreshments and a swag bag.
