Run Like A Warrior 5K Color Run, Evansville IN
The event is the second annual Run Like A Warrior 5K Color Run organized by Lyme Warrior at Lamasco Park in Evansville, Indiana on May 15, 2027. The event is open to runners and walkers and aims to raise funds and awareness for people and families affected by Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
Planned on-site activities include Lyme and tick-borne disease information booths, race and age-group awards, a prize for Most Green Worn, face painting, kids’ games, a silent auction, food trucks, and a drink station. Activities are scheduled to continue until noon.
Registration is required for all participants, including walkers. Registration details provided include an early bird rate of $30 through April 13, a regular rate of $35 from April 14 through May 14, and a race day rate of $40. Registration opens October 12, 2026. April 22, 2027 is the last day to guarantee a race shirt.
Early packet pickup is scheduled at Ultimate Fit Shoes & Fitness for Active Lifestyles, 1412 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN on April 23. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group 0–18, 19–30, and 31 plus, and there are overall awards.
