About the race
Blazin' Glazin' Donut Race is a community 5K event held at Wesselman Park, 551 North Boeke Rd., Evansville, IN. The course is an out and back that begins and ends in the park, and mini donuts are provided at the finish line. Registration fees are stated as $35 until November 30 and $40 through race day, with a $7 deduction for the no shirt option. All sales are final, and shirts are not guaranteed unless prior arrangements are made before race start.
Registration opens July 15 and closes December 1. Timing is provided by To the Finish Timing. Awards are given to the overall top three male and overall top three female finishers, plus top three male and top three female in these age groups: 13 and under; 14 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 to 79; 80 and over. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine. If snow or ice prevents the event, it will be postponed to December 20.
No refunds are given if the event is postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions or circumstances outside the organizers control. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Wesselman Woods. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
