Blazin' Glazin' Xmas Race : December 13, 2026
The event is a community 5K held at Wesselman Park, 551 North Boeke Rd, Evansville, IN. The course is an out-and-back 5K that begins and ends in Wesselman Park. Each participant receives three fresh mini donuts at the finish line; coffee, iced coffee, fruit smoothies and additional donuts will be available for purchase.
Registration fees follow a tiered schedule: $30 until Sept 15, $35 until Nov 30, and $40 until race day. Participants may deduct $5 by choosing the no race shirt option. All sales are final. Shirts are Tultex unisex soft cotton and are guaranteed for registrations completed by November 27; a limited number of extras will be ordered after that and no shirts are guaranteed after race day unless prior arrangements are made.
Race check in is available on race day from 12:15-12:45 PM. Early packet pick up is scheduled at Ultimate Fit on December 18 from 5:00-6:00 PM. Timing is provided by To the Finish Timing.
Awards are given to the overall top three male and overall top three female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 13 & under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+. Finisher medals are PVC rubber key chains.
The race will proceed rain or shine. If snow or ice prevents the event, it will be postponed to December 20. No refunds are given if the event is postponed or canceled due to unforeseen weather conditions or circumstances outside the organizers' control.
