Event overview
The Rotary Santa Run takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana. The event is based at the Buffalo Trace Eykamp Boy Scout Center, 3501 E. Lloyd Expressway, Evansville, IN 47715. Proceeds benefit community projects, including the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana program "Let’s Read by Grade 3." Registered participants receive a five-piece Santa suit while supplies last.

Courses, awards and logistics
The 5K route begins and finishes at the back of the Boy Scout building and runs clockwise through east-side residential neighborhoods. The course is described as relatively flat and uses local streets and a running path. The 1 mile walk follows the trail from the backside of the Boy Scout Center, crosses a pedestrian bridge and returns to the trail finish. The kids run offers three distances by age group: 1-3 years (50 m), 4-6 years (100 m), and 7-9 years (150 m); all kids-run finishers receive a medal.
Overall fastest male and female in the 5K receive trophies. First-place male and female in standard age groups receive medals across multiple age brackets. Five "Most Spirited" awards are given across categories for families, teams, kids, young adults and adults. Strollers are allowed in the 5K; bicycles and strollers are allowed in the 1 mile walk. Dogs, skates, skateboards and scooters are not permitted. Parking is available in marked lots on Buffalo Trace Council property and at the State Hospital property.
