Run Kenan is a community running event held at 114 Routledge Road in Kenansville, North Carolina. The program for the day includes a 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on the same date.
The course runs through the center of Kenansville and is described as passing rolling hills and historic landmarks in the town. The event is presented as the 1st Annual Run Kenan and is organized with the goal of raising funds for the international mission teams of Kenansville Baptist Church; all proceeds benefit those mission teams.
Registration opens July 17, 2026. The 5K has a tiered fee structure: $40 through August 29, 2026 and $50 from August 30, 2026 until race day. The Fun Run registration fee is $10 through race day. The 5K registration includes a race shirt; shirts will be available for purchase for Fun Run participants.
Awards are given for top overall male and top overall female, and for top male and female in each age group: under 18, 18 to 40, and 40 and over. Post-race refreshments are noted for participants and attendees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
