Carolina Strawberry Festival 5K - Overview
The Carolina Strawberry Festival 5K takes place on May 2, 2026, in Wallace, North Carolina. The 1 Mile fun run is a non-timed event that consists of four laps around the track at Clement Park and is open to all ages. The 5K uses the Campbell Center at Clement Park as the start and finish location. Packet pick up is available the day before at the picnic shelter in Clement Park and there is a last-chance packet pick up at the Campbell Center on race day.
Registration for the events includes a shirt, a finisher medal for the 5K, and a special treat for 1 Mile finishers. Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and for the top three male and female in age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Sponsors listed for awards include Bear Ridge Farms, Fleet Feet, Cinderella Farms, and My Gals Cookies. Proceeds from 5K sign ups will support a new inclusive playground at Clement Park.
