Cliffs Of The Neuse Trail Run and Hike
The event is scheduled for March 20, 2027 at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in Seven Springs, North Carolina. The start and finish area is at the big picnic shelter by the lake parking lot, which provides parking and restrooms.
Courses include a short section of gravel but are mostly single and double track. Layouts described include a 4 mile loop, an 8 mile lollipop route, and lap formats for the 25K and 50K. Trails are curvy and feature significant elevation change with views of the river and lake. All race courses will be marked. Running events will be timed and the 4 mile hike will not be timed.
Event logistics note that everyone will park in the large lot by the lake. The hike allows children aged five and under to participate free when accompanied by a registered guardian. Post-event provisions include cookies and a small meal at the finish line, with gluten free and plant based options. Awards are planned following the finish.
