Cliffs Of The Neuse Trail Run & Hike - March 21, 2026
The event takes place at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in Seven Springs, NC. It offers a mix of trail runs and a hike on mostly single and double track with a short gravel section. The start and finish area is the big picnic shelter by the lake parking lot, and everyone will park in the large lot by the lake. Restrooms are available at the start/finish parking lot and at the visitors center by the water station.

Course details include a 4 mile counterclockwise loop with about 225 feet of elevation gain, an 8 mile long lollipop with about 425 feet of elevation gain, and 50K/25K laps with about 450 feet of elevation gain per lap. The 50K/25K use a multi‑lap layout with full aid and restroom access at the start/finish of each lap and additional water stations on the laps. All courses will be marked and timed.
Support and amenities include aid stations (water, snacks, tacos at the finish), a small meal and cookies at the finish with gluten free and plant based options, sustainable wood medals for timely registrants, socks for all 50K participants, and professional photography and videography.
