Event Overview
The Outlaw Foundation 5K Run/Walk is a 12th annual event. All proceeds from the race go to provide financial assistance to families affected by cancer.
Events and Fees
The event includes two distances:
- A timed 5K run/walk.
- An untimed 1 mile fun run/walk.
The pre-registration fee is $25. Registration on the day of the event costs $30. Children 5 years old and under can participate for free. Participants who register by February 27th are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Course and Awards
The 5K course is USATF certified. The route goes through Center Street and neighborhoods near Carver Elementary School in Mount Olive. The start and finish are at Carver Elementary School.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers. Awards are also given to the top three male and female participants in multiple age groups, ranging from 12 & under to 65 & over. An additional award is given for top team participation.
Additional Information
The event is professionally timed. Entry fees are non-refundable. If the event is canceled, refunds are not issued, but race packets will be available for pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
