Run Hatteras 5k Road Race Series : July 10, 2026

The event takes place in Avon, North Carolina at SUN Realty, 41838 NC-12, in the Kinnakeet Shores area of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. It is scheduled for July 10, 2026 and includes two course options.

Entry fees are listed by category: Adult $45, Youth under 17 $40, Active Military Veteran $40. There is no pre event morning packet pickup. Race day packet pickup and walk-up registration are available on race morning from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at the start line. Online registration remains available.

The course is described as a flat run and walk through Kinnakeet Shores. Timing is electronic with chip timing. Each participant receives a T shirt and a unique finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall, first place youth boy and girl (14 and under), and first place male and female Masters (40 and over).
