Event Overview

The Run Hatteras 5K Road Race Series is a summer event taking place in Avon, North Carolina, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The course is described as flat and runs through the Kinnakeet Shores area.

Participants can register for two events:

Registration and Fees

Registration is available online. Race day packet pickup and walk-up registration are available on the morning of the event at the start line. There is no pre-event packet pickup. Registration fees are:

Adult: $45
Youth (under 17): $40
Active Military Veteran: $40

Participant Perks and Awards

All participants receive a T-shirt, a unique finisher medal, and chip timing. A light post-race breakfast and refreshments are provided at the finish line. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, the first-place youth boy and girl (14 & under), and the first-place male and female masters (40 & over).
