Run Hatteras 5K Road Race Series
This is a summer road race series held on Friday mornings in Kinnakeet Shores, Avon, North Carolina, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The event uses a flat course through the neighborhood near SUN Realty at 41838 NC-12 in Avon.

Entry fees are listed by category: Adult $45, Youth under 17 $40, Active military veteran $40. Online registration is maintained by the organizer. There is no pre-event morning packet pickup; race day packet pickup and walk-up registration are available at the start line.
Timing and awards use chip timing for finish results. All participants receive a T-shirt and a unique finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, the first place youth boy and girl (14 and under), and first place male and female masters (40 and over).
