Run Hatteras 5k Road Race Series - June 19, 2026

The Run Hatteras event on June 19, 2026 takes place in Avon, NC at SUN Realty in the Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The event offers two distances and uses chip timing for finish results.

Registration fees are published by category: adult $45, youth under 17 $40, and active military veteran $40. Online registration remains available. There is no pre-event packet pickup; race day packet pickup and walk-up registration occur at the start line at SUN Realty from 7:00 to 7:45 AM.

All participants receive a T-shirt and a unique finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall, first place youth boy and girl (14 and under), and first place male and female masters (40 and over). A light post-race breakfast and refreshments are provided at the finish.
