Run Happy 50K and other happy distances
Run Happy 50K (and other happy distances) is a trail event on May 1, 2027 at St. Patrick's County Park, just outside South Bend, Indiana. The event offers multiple trail distances on marked routes with trails described as broken in. It is presented as a relaxed, family-friendly occasion for both walkers and runners.
Distances available include:
- 50k
- Marathon (26.2 Miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10k
Course route details and maps are forthcoming and will be distributed by email when ready. All distances will be chip-timed by Watts My Time. Registration opens May 4, 2026 and closes April 30, 2027; fees vary by distance. No same-day sign ups are permitted. Pets may spectate but are not allowed to run the course with participants.
Packet pickup arrangements include an early pickup time and location to be determined, and event-day pickup at Potato Creek. Volunteer opportunities are available through the organizer.
