Run From Zombies - St. Petersburg
Run From Zombies is scheduled for October 31, 2026 and is presented by Unity and Timing Events at Flora Wylie Park, 1400 N Shore Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33704.
The event includes multiple individual and team race categories and age divisions. Distances offered include:
- 0.5 Miles for Zombie Kids and Kids Survivors, ages 5 to 12.
- 2 Miles for individual Zombies and Survivors, and for team events.
Competition rules require participants to wear flag belts and color coded wristbands. Zombies may remove flags from survivors but physical holding or pushing of other competitors is prohibited and may lead to disqualification. Zombies are assigned to specific groups and may pursue only the group assigned to them. If a walking survivor begins running, a running zombie may pursue that survivor. Team entries must have a team name and teams may include specified numbers of members; to qualify for team awards at least two team members must finish with a flag attached.
Points and awards use defined scoring: survivors earn placement points of 10, 8, 6, 4, and 3 for first through fifth, and each retained flag is worth 10 points for individuals. Team scoring follows a similar placement scale and flags contribute team points. Top individual and team placings are ranked by these totals.
Registration fees and participant limits are specified per division, including kids entries at $50, individual Zombies and Survivors at $75, junior teams at $125, and open teams at $250.
