Run Frimley
Run Frimley is a community running event held at Frimley Lodge Park in Frimley Green, Camberley GU16 6HY. The event features multiple race distances on closed roads with tarmac surfaces and chip timing for all participants. Routes are described as gradient varied with smooth surfaces, and the course includes dedicated cheer points and music.
The event programme includes the following distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Colour Fun Run
Entries for the 5K and 10K include a bespoke medal, chip timing, finish line refreshments and access to the Event Village. A Fun Run and a Fun Run family entry are offered separately. The event also supports fundraising for Frimley Health Charity; a free charity place requires a fundraising pledge to be met prior to the event, and higher fundraising tiers qualify for additional rewards.
Event facilities include free car parks and an additional parking field near the event arena. The routes are described as wheelchair and pushchair friendly, but the mixed terrain and hilly nature of some sections is noted and running pushchairs are recommended. A sweeper vehicle operates to collect participants who remain on course after the published cut off. Past editions have attracted around 1,200 runners year on year.
