The Riverside Marathon & Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 28 November 2026 in Walton on Thames, Surrey. The event offers both a marathon and a half marathon on an accurately measured and UKA certified route. The venue is Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, KT12 2JG. Course and format
The course runs along the River Thames from Walton on Thames towards Hampton Court and back. The surface is an off-road riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss. Runners complete laps as part of the format:
- Half Marathon - 4 laps
- Marathon - 8 laps
Medals are provided to all finishers. Virtual participants also receive a giveaway medal or memento.
Rules and restrictions
