14th Annual Run FORE Cancer 8K - 5K - Walk
The 14th annual Run FORE Cancer takes place at the Silverado Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event route utilizes the cart paths of the golf course, with the start and finish lines located at the Club House. This event serves as a fundraiser for cancer research, having raised over $405,000 to date.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 8K
- 5K
- Remembrance Walk
- Virtual Run (US addresses only)
The event is chip-timed with real-time results and photography. Participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt. Age group awards are provided for the top three male and female finishers in 17 different categories, ranging from ages 8 and under to 80 and over. A "Runner’s Brunch" featuring granola bars, fruit, water, and electrolyte drinks is provided for participants.
The course is stroller, wheelchair, and wagon friendly, though pets are not permitted. Limited parking is available on-site at the Silverado Golf Club, with additional overflow parking and a shuttle service located 0.5 miles away at the Seville Office building.
