Run for Your Life Race at Robinson Lake
The Run for Your Life Race at Robinson Lake is an evening Halloween event at Robinson Lake Park, 5240 S Liverpool Rd, Hobart Indiana. The program includes a family fun walk/run, a timed 5K trail race, and a haunted trail walk around the lake.
Participants in the family fun walk/run and the 5K receive glow items and finishers medals. The 5K is a timed trail race with chip timing and awards for overall top three finishers and age group awards in these divisions: 17 and under, 18-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Pre-registered participants receive medals; a limited number of shirts and finisher medals are available on race day.
Tee shirts are available for purchase during registration for $20 or on race day for $25. Registration fees listed for the events are $25 for the family fun walk/run, $25 for the 5K, and $15 for the haunted trail. Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes October 24, 2026.
Course rules note that dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, and wheeled vehicles are not allowed on the course. The haunted trail covers roughly one mile around Robinson Lake and features scare characters and themed scenes. Costume awards are given for most creative and scariest, with one child and one adult winner per category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
