Run for Your Life Race at Robinson Lake
The Run for Your Life event takes place at Robinson Lake Park, 5240 S Liverpool Rd, Hobart, IN. It is an evening Halloween-themed set of activities on the park trails that includes timed and non-timed options plus a separate haunted trail walk.
Distances offered:
- 1 mile Family Fun Walk/Run
- 5K Timed trail race with chip timing
- 1 mile Haunted Trail walk
Participants in the 5K and the family walk/run receive glow items and finisher medals. The 5K is a timed trail race with bib and chip; overall prizes are given for first through third place and age-group awards are listed for multiple adult brackets. Pre-registered runners are eligible for medals; limited shirts and finisher medals may be available on race day.
The haunted trail is a roughly one-mile route around the lake featuring scare characters and themed scenes. A costume contest awards winners in categories for most creative and scariest costume, with separate child and adult winners.
Course restrictions apply: dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, and other wheeled vehicles are not allowed on the course. Race shirts are offered for purchase during registration and on site for specified fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
