About the race
The Run for Your Life Race at Robinson Lake is a nighttime Halloween event held at Robinson Lake Park, 5240 S Liverpool Rd, Hobart, IN 46342 on October 24, 2026. The event offers trail-based options and themed activities around the lake.
Distances offered:
- 1 mile Family Fun Walk/Run on a non-paved trail.
- 5K Timed trail race with bib and chip.
- 1 mile Haunted Trail walk with scare characters and themed scenes.
Participants in the Family Fun Walk/Run and 5K receive glow items and a finishers medal. Medals are provided for all pre-registered finishers; a limited number of race day medals and shirts will be available. The 5K includes prizes for first through third overall and age-group awards for 17 and under, 18-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
Registration fees listed are $25 for the 5K and the Fun Walk/Run and $15 for the Haunted Trail. Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes October 24, 2026. Tee shirts are available for purchase during registration for $20 or on event day for $25. The event notes that no dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, or wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course.
