Run for Your Life Race at Robinson Lake
The event takes place at Robinson Lake Park in Hobart, Indiana (5240 S Liverpool Rd) on October 24, 2026. It includes a timed trail 5K and two one mile options around the lake: a Family Fun Walk/Run and a Haunted Trail walk. Participants in the Family Fun Walk/Run and the Haunted Trail will follow a non-paved route around the lake; the 5K is a timed trail race that uses bibs and chips.
Participants receive glow items and a finisher medal; medals are available for pre-registered participants for the Family Fun Walk/Run and the 5K. Tee shirts are offered during registration for $15 or on race day for $20. Race day registration is available with a limited number of shirts and finisher medals.
Awards for the 5K are given to top runners in each age group: 18-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Costume awards are given for most creative and scariest costumes with four winners total, one child and one adult in each category. The Haunted Trail is roughly one mile with scare characters and themed scenes. No dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, or other wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course.
