Run for Your Life Race at Robinson Lake
The event takes place at Robinson Lake Park in Hobart, Indiana on October 24, 2026. It is a nighttime Halloween running and walking event held on the park's trail system. Participants are advised to bring a headlamp or flashlight because the trails may be dark.
Distances and formats
- 1 mile Family Fun Walk/Run, non-timed, glow items and finisher medal.
- 5K Timed trail race with bib and chip, glow items and finisher medal.
- 1 mile Haunted Trail walk around Lake Robinson with scare characters.
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes October 24, 2026. Entry fees listed for event options include twenty five dollars for the 5K and family fun walk/run and fifteen dollars for the haunted trail. Medals are provided to pre-registered finishers. Race day registration is available but a limited number of race day shirts and finisher medals will be on hand. T shirts are available for purchase during registration for twenty five dollars or on the day of the event for thirty dollars.
The 5K includes overall prizes for first, second, and third places and awards by age group. Course rules prohibit dogs, strollers, bicycles, in line skates, scooters, and other wheeled vehicles on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
