Run For Your Life 1 Mile Dash 5k/10k/15k Series - The Final Stand
The Run For Your Life series is a zombie themed running event on 10/24/2026 at Fairborn Community Park, 691 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH. The event includes multiple race distances and a separate Zombie Experience role.
Participants can register as Survivors or Zombies. Survivors run wearing a flag football belt and pass through marked infected zones where Zombies may attempt to capture flags. Zombies remain inside designated infected zones and try to take flags from Survivors; costumes are encouraged. All runners receive a finisher medal whether they keep all flags or are infected. The course will include clearly marked infected zones and zones are restricted to Zombies.
Distances and special options:
- 1 Mile: 0.5 miles out and back; two infected areas.
- 5K: three out-and-back sections; six infected areas.
- 10K: six out-and-back sections; twelve infected areas.
- 15K: nine out-and-back sections; eighteen infected areas.
- Zombie Experience: role as zombie in infected zones; t-shirt included.
Registration fees listed by event are $30 for the 1 Mile, $40 for the 5K, $50 for the 10K, $60 for the 15K, and $0 for the Zombie Experience. The event is presented by Run Ohio Races LLC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
