About the race
The Marauder Miles is an inaugural community 5K run and walk hosted by Midwest Legacy Marauders Co. The event raises funds to provide scholarship support for Midwest high school students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and promotes physical fitness and wellness across the community. Event features include packet pick up, a group warm up, and race results that are updated as participants finish and posted on the Key Sports website or via the ITS YOUR RACE app. Registration offers two pricing periods: an early bird window from August 3 to September 16 with a $35 fee that includes a shirt and medal, and a standard window from September 17 to October 9 with a $57 fee; shirts are included if registration occurs by September 30 and medals are not included in standard registration.
Medals are guaranteed through September 16 and shirts are guaranteed through September 29. Participants must maintain a 20 minute per mile pace on the course. Transfers to another participant are permitted through September 9. There are no refunds for any reason and race items will not be mailed.
Organizers may reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual format for safety or other reasons; if converted, shirts will be available for pick up at a later date.
