Marauder Miles 5K
The Marauder Miles 5K is the inaugural community run and walk hosted by Midwest Legacy Marauders Co. The event takes place in Dayton, OH on October 9, 2026 and is organized to support education, wellness, and community connections.
All proceeds are designated for scholarship funds for Midwest high school students who attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the Midwest. The event promotes physical fitness and community engagement through a noncompetitive run and walk format. Participants must maintain a minimum pace of 20 minutes per mile on the course.
Registration options include an early bird period and a standard period with differing fees and item guarantees. Early bird registrants are charged $35 and are guaranteed a shirt and a medal during the early bird window. Standard registration is $57, with shirts guaranteed only if registration occurs by the stated cutoff; medals are only guaranteed through the early bird window. Transfers to another participant are permitted up to the published transfer deadline. Organizers state there are no refunds and race items will not be mailed.
Event materials note an event schedule that includes packet pickup and a pre-race warm up. Results are posted as participants finish and are available via the timing provider and the event app. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual format for safety or other reasons.
