Run For Your Flapjacks 5K
Run For Your Flapjacks 5K takes place on September 26, 2026 at Stagecoach State Park. The course begins and ends at the Yampa Theater just west of the park visitor's center and follows the Lakeside trail along the reservoir.
The route is mostly flat and proceeds 2.5 kilometer to a turnaround point for a total distance of 5K. Commemorative medals will be awarded to finishers. The event is described as a fun run and will use a shotgun start with manual timing.
A flapjack breakfast with hot cider will be served at the Arrowhead pavilion adjacent to the finish area on completion of the run. Packet pickup is available on Friday September 25 at the park visitor center and on race day at the event site.
Early bird registration prices are $20 for a single entry and $50 for family or group entries of three to four people before July 15. Prices increase after July 15 to $25 and $60 respectively. An entrance fee for the park applies or participants may use a Keep Colorado Wild Pass issued with vehicle registration renewal.
