Run For Your Flapjacks 5K
Run For Your Flapjacks 5K is a fun run held on September 26, 2026, at Stagecoach State Park in Oak Creek, Colorado. The course begins and ends at the park's Yampa Theater and follows an out and back route on the mostly flat Lakeside Trail along the Stagecoach State Park reservoir.
The event distance is 3.1 Miles. The field will start with a shotgun start and timing will be manual. Commemorative finisher medals will be given to participants.
A flapjack breakfast with hot cider will be served immediately following the run at the Arrowhead pavilion adjacent to the finish area. Packet pickup is available the day before at the park visitor center or on race day at the park.
Registration has a listed fee of $20.00 with group pricing that provides a discount for three or four participants and an early bird discount for registrations completed before July 15. The event will be held regardless of weather and no refunds will be issued. There is a park entrance fee of $12 or participants may use a Keep Colorado Wild Pass issued as an option with vehicle registration renewal.
