Steamboat Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K
The Steamboat Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K are scheduled for June 7, 2026 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The 2026 event marks the 45th annual running. Distances offered include:

The course runs alongside the Elk River and travels through emerald green pastures on County Road 129 with views of the snow capped Rocky Mountains. The Steamboat Marathon is a certified Boston Qualifier race and was ranked as one of the "Top 10 Destination Marathons in North America." The marathon and the 10K are designated as official qualifier events for national races such as the Bolder Boulder and the Boston Marathon.
A public hearing with the Board of County Commissioners will address the race course and an updated detour on RCR 129 at the historic courthouse located at 522 Lincoln Ave. The event is part of the Steamboat Springs Running Series.
