Run for Wishes

The 25th Annual Headingley Fire Department Run for Wishes is a community running event held in Headingley, Manitoba, featuring a scenic 5km run and a 3km family walk along the Assiniboine River and through South Headingley neighborhoods. Starting and finishing at the Headingley Fire Department, the event offers a festive atmosphere with post-race awards, approximately 50 prize draws, refreshments including hot dogs, and family-friendly activities like a Fire & Life Safety trailer and photo booth. It supports local charities such as the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation and Westgrove Family Resource Centre.
