Winnipeg Pride Run 2026
The Winnipeg Pride Run, presented by Winnipeg Frontrunners, is a non-competitive running and walking event that starts and finishes at the Forks festival grounds near the Orientation Circle in Winnipeg. The event offers two marked distances.
- 3 km - one lap of the route
- 6 km - two laps of the route
The course passes through the Winnipeg Pride Festival site and the Forks Market patio. Surfaces include dirt, gravel, grass, and concrete; there are surface tree roots, steps, and some sections that require participants to proceed single file. Participants are asked to be careful and respectful of other visitors. Parking is available at The Forks parkade and nearby surface lots.
Race kits include a shirt (if ordered with registration), race bib, bag tag, and safety pins. Kits can be picked up on Thursday and Friday evenings or at the event site on the morning of the run. The 2026 "Pride Moves" shirts feature the Winnipeg skyline and the colours of the Progress Pride Flag; shirts are included with adult and youth registrations while stocks last, but not with child registrations.
A portion of registration fees will be donated to the Rainbow Resource Centre to support Camp Aurora. The event lists local partners and on-site services such as water stations, music, cheering stations, and post-run massages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
